The Marriage of John and Kerry 14th August 2004

The Marriage of Kerry Jane Sheridan to John Robinson Whannel took place at Scotstoun Parish Church in Glasgow on the 14 August 2004. After the wedding ceremony which was conducted by the Reverend Richard Cameron, the guests where transported to the S.V. Glenlee (Glasgow's famous tall ship) for a champagne reception in blazing sunshine. A lone piper, Jonathan MacDougall, piped the Bride and Groom aboard.

The Bride was accompanied by her two bridesmaids Jacelyn and Collette.

John's best man, Greg Hillier, must be specially thanked for making the whole day run smoothly.

After the traditional speeches and the cutting of the cake the guests were invited below deck for a most splendid meal which included poached salmon, chicken breast stuffed in vegetarian haggis and finally chocolate mousse.

The evening finished off with a Ceilidgh which was enjoyed by both the young as well as the young at heart.

The Grace

And some wad eat that want it;
But we hae meat and we can eat,
And sae the Lord be thankit.
